Flowering Easter Eggs and Twigs

Inspired by a wonderful flower installation and the most spectacular Easter eggs we created some Easter decorations from materials in the garden, paper and pastels in spring colours.

We used a random method when we decorated the egg. We tried first to arrange the flowers in a pattern but it did not look good and it very fun just to scatter the flowers over the egg.

We took the flowers apart and scattered petals over the egg. The camellias we completely dissected but we were a bit more careful with the daffodils, we only had three in the gardens so maybe that was the reason. You can read more about how to dissect daffodils here. We might test this properly if we get some more daffodils. . .

We also made smaller eggs and decorated a twig with witch hazel and ribbons. Inspired by the interactive flower garden we hand some daffodils upside down.
