The Twelve Months of Endangered Animals Song – Polar Bears

On the Eleventh of November we saved,

Eleven Polar  Bears Sliding on the Snow.

Polar bears live in remote areas that are tricky to study. But scientists predict that without action on climate change we could lose wild polar bears by 2100. Major treats are melting sea ice and loss of prey due to climate change.

We have talked  about climate change previously so we decided to raise awareness by focusing on a more positive aspect of these magnificent creatures.

Polar bears communicate by using their body language, vocalization and scent markings.

A sign that a polar bear want to play is head wagging from side to side.

Why not make a card for this Festive Season with some playing polar bear cubs?

We fell in love with this polar bear.
