I instantly fell in love with this book. A charming mixture of mindfulness and learning the alphabet.

Alphabreaths: The ABCs of Mindful Breathing by Christopher Willard, Daniel Rechtschaffen is a great way to learn the ABCs and the basics of mindfulness through breathing exercises. The book is deligthfully illustrated by Holly Clifton Brown and it captures the feelings of letting go of stress and frustration.

Breaths like Mountain Breath will connect children with nature, while breaths like Wish Breath will help them remember to send wishes to others.

To gain confidence try the “D” Dolphin breath: Breathe in as you lift your arms up high. Breathe out as you imagine diving into the ocean.
